What is Pilates? a Brief Explanation

What is Pilates? This is one of those common questions that many who are willing to learn some new way of staying fit, asks quite often! Generally stating here, Pilates refers to a distinct form of exercise that has been named after its developer Joseph Pilates! This is unique in the sense that it does not follow the same trendy approaches that almost every other fitness regimen program accept usually. Pilates aims at maintaining the overall health by means of stretching and strengthening the body. In order to accomplish this, it again emphasizes the core, also now as the center. To be exact, it is the muscular group that is noticeable together in the abdomen, back, hips, and spinal region. According to Pilates, we should try to concentrate on strengthening this core since it will allow us to have a fine movement, good posture, lean and longer muscles, and so on.
